KANGOR YATICH KIPKORIR – DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

Mr. Kangor Yatich Kipkorir is a seasoned public sector professional with over 15years of experience in administration, enterprise development, and policy implementation.

He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Enterprise Development in the Department of Business Development, Marketing, and Trade (BDMT) at the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA). In this role, he provides strategic leadership in the coordination of regional activities, preparation of annual work plans, performance contracting, MSE policy implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, all geared toward advancing MSEA’s mission of promoting and developing Micro and Small Enterprises across Kenya.

Mr. Yatich holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Kabarak University and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Moi University. He has also undertaken the Certified Public Secretaries (CPS) course at KASNEB and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK). His leadership training includes the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP), Senior Management Course (SMC), and Protocol, Communication, and Customer Care programs from the Kenya School of Government.

Prior to joining MSEA, he served as an Assistant Director of Administration and Sub-County Administrator in the County Government of Nakuru, where he  coordinated government programs and projects at the sub-county level. His experience spans policy and planning, citizen engagement, capacity building, and service delivery, giving him a strong foundation in both governance and enterprise development.

At MSEA, Mr. Yatich has made notable contributions, including coordinating the Kenya Public-Private MSME Dialogue (MSME Connect)—a national platform   that facilitates engagement between MSEs and government to address sector challenges and enhance collaboration.
