
ELIZABETH MULAE- HEAD OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
Elizabeth is a Communication & Public Relations Professional with over 19 years’ experience in the communication field. Her experience has holistically exposed her to strategic Corporate communication, Journalism ( print & electronic) Sales, Marketing and Advertising, Publications management, Public relations ,and development communication in general.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Public Relations from Daystar University, Master of Arts in Development Communication from the University of Nairobi, Diploma in Journalism & Media Studies from Institute of Commercial Management (UK) & Consolata Institute of Communication & Technology, a Certificate in International Trade Law Policy from Trade Law Center (TRALAC)
She has undertaken the Senior Management Course (SMC) and Senior Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) from Kenya School of Management Studies.
She has previously worked in the mainstream media as a reporter, subscription and advertising account executive in the media and in several publications production companies, the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya where she worked as the Public Relations and communication Manager and the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency ( KEPROBA) as a Communication Manager.
Presently, she is the Head of Corporate Communication at the Micro Small Enterprise Authority supporting the strategic communication of the diverse pool of micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs)
On matters trade development, she has attended various courses on Trade development and African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation. She has published several articles on general topics among them crisis management, health, property and International trade related stories.
She is a full member of Public Relations Society of Kenya and has served as a Board of Governors Member in public and private institutions where she supports policy development in various committee. A certified SMEs coach having been trained and participated in the GIZ SME loop programme supporting MSMEs in Nairobi for more than 6 months. She supports Women development and leadership growth as a mentor under the African Women Leaders in Agroecology (AWOLA) and the She Governs Trade (SGT) programs which provide a platform for learning, mentoring and sharing experiences.
