Henry M. Rithaa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA)
Mr. Rithaa, is an experienced professional with Over 16 years of progressive work in Banking, Strategy and SME development with leading private and government institutions. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer/Director General of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority, a government parastatal mandated under the law to support the development of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
He has served in various senior level positions in both Government and the private sector, including Standard Chartered Bank, Equity Bank, Commercial Bank of Africa and Kenya Tea Development Agency; mainly in Credit, Corporate strategy and MSME development. Most recently, Henry Served as the Chief Manager, Corporate Strategy, Research and Advocacy at the Export Promotion Council, which is a Government institution charged with the responsibility of promoting Kenyan products exports, for about a year.
Mr. Rithaa is a Certified Risk Professional and is also certified in Regional Integration and Trade. He is a member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
He holds an MBA in Strategic Management, Master of Arts in Regional Integration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option).
