MAJOR BOOST FOR MSE’s IN KESSES CONSTITUENCY THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

The Deputy President H.E. Hon. Rigathi Gachagua EGH, together with the Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSME) Development, Hon. Simon Chelugui EGH, and Kesses Member of Parliament Hon. CPA Julius Rutto, led an empowerment initiative for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Kesses Constituency.

The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) provided essential trade tools to 20 associations across various sectors within Kesses Constituency. The distributed equipment included metal lathe machines, wood combination machines, welding machines, car wash machines, vehicle diagnostic machines, drilling bits, earmuffs, safety goggles, face shields, and various consumables. These tools will help alleviate the operational challenges faced by MSEs.

This initiative is the result of a partnership between MSEA North Rift and the Kesses Constituency Member of Parliament. Through this collaboration, more than 50 associations and groups have been formalized. MSEA CEO Mr. Henry Rithaa was represented by CPA Alton Kipchoge Kogo.
